Weeding and Seeding in High Park

Description: On September 9th the High Park Stewards, along with their trusted volunteers, were hard at work tending to their newest site alongside Jamie Bell Playground. More than 20 workers dotted the hillside as they worked diligently to keep the community grounds looking healthy and beautiful. Fall is a great time of year to see native grasses in High Park including big and little bluestem, Indian grass, panic grass and wild rye. Also coming into their prime this time of year are asters and goldenrods. If you would like to help, the High Park Stewards meet on the second and fourth Sundays of each month.
